Specimen & Weld can be configured by clicking the icon shown below.


Specimen mainly includes lists for ultrasonic speed, thickness, and legs settings, while the rest are settings for Weld.

  1. Velocity: A menu for setting the speed of the material.

  2. Legs: Displays the size on the S-scan screen based on the thickness of the material.

※ The Leg function is a line that indicates the reflecting surface based on the thickness of the material.

  • B (Bottom) means the bottom surface of the material, and T (Top) means the top surface of the material.

  • Legs are generated sequentially as B0, T1, B2, T3.

  • If you do not use the Legs, you can set it to Off.


  1. Thickness: A menu for entering the thickness of the material.

  2. Weld: A menu to set the type of weld.

  3. Skew: Determines the direction of the probe.

  1. Probe Scan Offset: This menu is for entering the distance between the probe and the scan direction.

  2. Probe Index Offset: This menu is for entering the distance between the probe and the index direction.


※ When changing Skew, it is applied to the Ruler as shown below.

  • Skew Angle 90/270 is the index direction, so use Probe Index Offset to enter the value.

  • Skew Angle 0/180 is the scan direction, so use Probe Scan Offset to enter the value.
