 PC PAUT Program - DSViewer 

DSViewer reads all collected data and utilizes various functions for analysis and inspection.

It supports various features such as defect size measurement, defect location finding, and zooming for precise inspection.

Load DSVIEWER data file

DSViewer loads the collected data and displays it on the screen.

DEEPSOUND's data files are in DSV format. All collected data is saved as .dsv files.

Add Scan View

The viewer provides a menu for users to configure their desired scan views.

A total of 5 scans are supported: S/A/B/C/D. Click on the desired scan to apply it immediately.

Add Scan Image

Select the scan window you want to move and use the feature to place it in your desired location.

Menu View

The View menu has a function to display defect information on the screen.

These functions include Bar/Gate/Flip/Swap/Zoom Reset.

Reference/Measurement bar

Select and activate the desired bar from the View menu. The defect size can be measured with the cursor, and you can check more detailed data values in the information section.

When you enable display values, the position values of the bar are shown on the screen, and they disappear when deactivated.

Gate Menu View

You can select the gate to activate from the View menu. Once activated, the gate is applied to the A-scan image, allowing you to freely change the signal position, height, and area to inspect.

You can change the gate length and height using mouse controls, but you can also modify the length through the Gat/Range Control tool in the top menu.

Range Menu View

When View Range is activated, a controllable area is created under the ruler in B-scan/D-scan.

The color of the area represents the same axis as the ruler, allowing you to control the area to only display the target defects you want to inspect.

Zoom/Reset Control

Zoom in on the data image or reset it to its original size.

Hold Shift+Left Mouse button and drag to select the area you want to zoom into. The zoom/reset will only affect the selected screen/window.

Overlay Menu

The overlay menu allows you to load the image of the inspection target onto the screen and apply and reconstruct the specimen and weld shapes used/stored during data collection.

Specimen Tool

The specimen tool window is used to edit the specimen thickness parameters saved during data collection.

Weld Setting Tool

The weld setting tool is used to modify saved weld configurations. You can apply V, Reverse V, and X welds to S-scan and C-scan images.

Save PNG file

DSViewer has an option to save images as PNG files.

Channel Group Viewer

The channel group viewer can display all data sets collected from multiple probes.

Linear setting scan image

When scanning with the Linear Setting, the differences in thickness are clearly visible. Click the info icon and move the data bar to check the desired position values.

Thickness Measurement Setting

DSViewer displays different colors for signals at different locations with varying thicknesses.

ColorMap Tool

The color map feature allows you to perform the following: You can view the color areas of the image at a glance.

Measurement Tool

Using the measurement tool, you can view all bar and gate information collected from the image at a glance.

It is designed to display information about the signal applied to the gate, the distance between Gate A and Gate B, and the difference in position values between the reference bar and the measurement bar.
