Encoder Calibration: A function used to fix position data for accurate operation of the equipment.
Since the Encoder (Scanner) produces a certain number of pulses per millimeter, it needs to be calibrated to obtain accurate position data.
(Pulses are also referred to as Step or Resolution.)
The Encoder proceeds by selecting one of the two axes, Scan or Index.

Encoder Type: Select the axis to calibrate the desired type.
Start: Click to apply the starting position value.
End: Click to apply the value once the encoder reaches the end position.
Calculate: After moving the actual distance, input the value and click Calculate (e.g., if moved 100mm, input 100).
Resolution: After clicking Calculate, the value is automatically calculated, and clicking OK applies the value.

After confirming the Resolution value, click Ok, and the value will be automatically entered into the Scan Resolution.
